Special Certificates available for contacting the FISTS QSL Bureau Staff

The FISTS QSL Bureau is operated by the Franklin County Amateur Radio Club.  There are eight members of the Club who do the sorting and mailing.  Without the crew, it would be impossible for one person to do the job!

In 1998, a "Special Achievement" Certificate and "special" QSL card was presented to Esther, KA4IFF for working the four original FISTS members of the QSL Bureau:

 K4ORD,  K4UK,  W4BOT  and  W4YE.

She enjoyed the certificate and the special card so much that the Bureau has decided to make available three "special" QSL certificates.  These are:

"Special Achievement"
"Very Special Achievement"
"Extremely Special Achievement"

The "Special Achievement"Certificate is available to all members who work any four  FISTS members of the QSL Bureau: Dick, K1HEL, Harry, KA3NZR, JJ, W4EIE,  Riley, K4ORD, Stan, K4UK,  Bill, W4BOT, Buddy, W4YE..

The "Very Special Achievement"Certificate is available to those members who, in addition to working four FISTS members, also work Charlie, K4BSF.  Since Charlie is essentially a Phone man, that will require you to find your microphone and then find Charlie.  He is quite active on the Christian Amateur Radio Fellowship Net in the mornings at 1100 UTC on 3.930 MHz.  Charlie is net control on Saturday.

The "Extremely Special Achievement"Certificate is available to those members who, in addition to working four FISTS members and Charlie, K4BSF also work Frank, N4FEG (Ex-KE4HOA).  Frank now has a General license, but also like Charlie is essentially a Phone man.  So, you'll need to find your microphone and find Frank.  He has been very active on 6 Meters SSB, having accomplished VUCC and has worked 46 of the 50 states.  Now with his General license he will be active on the HF bands.

As with all FISTS "Awards", you only need to send us a list documenting the contacts you have made with  the 4 or 5 or 6 or 7 members of the Bureau.  Of course, all of us would appreciate your QSL card.  Send your list to the QSL Bureau address, you all know what that is, right?
